Sanilac County Health Department is providing FREE childbirth education to any pregnant person in Sanilac County. This 2-day course will be held on May 6th and May 13th, 2026. The class will be held at 95 Dawson Street, in Sandusky. (Located across the parking lot from the Sanilac County Health Department. Please plan to attend both dates.
It is recommended to bring a support person, preferably the person you will have with you during delivery.
Each pregnant person will receive a course companion booklet, infant sleep sack, safety kit, gas card and each person will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize drawing at the end of the course. The prize will either be a car seat or and combo pack n play with video baby monitor. (must attend entire course)
This course will cover pregnancy, labor and delivery, comfort measures, pain relief options, medical interventions, newborn care, postpartum care.
