Double Up Food Bucks Matching and Christmas in July at the Caro Farmers Market

How the Program Works at the Market:
1. Visit the Market Manager Table: Shoppers bring their SNAP Bridge Card to the
main market info table.
2. Swipe and Match: The market charges the EBT card for the requested amount
and matches it dollar-for-dollar with silver Double Up Food Bucks tokens—up to
$50 per day.
3. Shop Local: Bridge tokens can be spent on any SNAP food (meat, eggs, baked
goods). The DUFB tokens can be spent on fresh Michigan produce, mushrooms,
and veggie or fruit producing plants.

Massive "Christmas in July" Family Event This Saturday
This Saturday also features the market's highly anticipated Christmas in July event.
Tuscola County families attending the market can take part in a completely free, brand-
new toy giveaway to bring holiday cheer to local children mid-summer.
The day will also feature a specialized Food Safety community day in collaboration with
MSU Extension from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Caro Farmers Market is open every
Saturday from June through October (9 AM–2 PM).
