The Sanilac County Child Abuse Prevention Council invites you to join us to learn about the Child Advocacy Center Process through the lens of a survivor. Melanie Barton is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and sexual assault. She has a passion to shine a light into the darkness through sharing her personal experiences. She travels the country sharing her story in order to bring awareness to this sensitive topic and offer HOPE to others. Join the Sanilac County Child Abuse Prevention Council to hear Melanie's story and to learn how the Child Advocacy Center process played a vital role in her healing journey. This adult only event is offered at no cost to attendees.
